In March, I attended The Makeup Show Los Angeles 2015 Part 2.

I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette (top right), and MustaeV Single Eye Shadow in Gold Digger, Burn, and Nightmare (bottom left). For this post, I will review NARS eyeshadow palette on the top left.

Thoughts: When this first came out, I was waiting for a discount. Unfortunately, that never happened. So when I saw this at The Makeup Show, I was stoked and didn't have to think twice.
Here's how the palette looks when it's open. It comes with a mirror and an eyeshadow brush.
Here's a closer look at the eyeshadows. From top to bottom, left to right; Europa, Himalia, Ursa Major, Subra, Andromeda, Lysithea, Giove, and Sycorax.
Here's a closer look at Giove. Each eyeshadows have detailed patterns.

Now for the swatches...
This is the top row from left to right; Europa, Himalia, Ursa Major, and Subra. They're all swatched dry with no primer on my hand.
This is the bottom row from left to right; Andromeda, Lysithea, Giove, and Sycorax. This is also swatched dry with no primer on my hand.
Here's how the brush looks.
Here's a closer look at the brush. I usually tend to not use them since they're not well-made. This is extremely well-made and the eyeshadows apply better with the brush.

Now for looks I did with the palette...
Look #1:
I used Europa on the lid, and Himalia on the outer v and crease.
Here's an overall look.

Look #2:
I applied Andromeda on the lid, and Himalia on the outer v and crease.
Here's an overall look.

Look #3:
I applied Himalia on the lid, Ursa Major on the crease, and Sycorax on the outer v.
Here's an overall look. I have MustaeV Glazing Lip Gloss in Golden Peach on my lips.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the eyeshadows can be applied wet or dry. In all honesty, I didn't try this wet. I hate wetting my eyeshadows because in my opinion, it gets messy. For dry eyeshadows, it can go from being sheer to pigmented depending on how much you apply. With that said, I tried using the eyeshadows with other brushes. It was easy to apply and build up using the brush it came with. It took longer to build up with the other eyeshadow brushes. Secondly and if you're not a glossy type of person, this eyeshadows aren't for you. Every single eyeshadows are shiny/glossy. Some of them have sparkles and some have less noticeable on the lids. Third, I love that the shadows are distinct. Some palettes they just blend well together and look like one color on the lid. This isn't and the combination of looks you can build is endless. Lastly, it lasted all day on me without creasing. I'm so glad I got this palette! I highly recommend it because it's just plain gorgeous.

Pros:
* Travel-friendly.
* Well-made, useful brush.
* Comes with a mirror.
* Can be used wet or dry.
* Sheer to pigmented.
* Blends well together.
* Does not crease.
* Long lasting; lasted all day.

Cons:
* No mattes shadows.

Would repurchase: Yes!
