Product performance: Practice safe summer all year round with tarte's first multi-tasking, antioxidant-infused daily sunscreen. The lightweight, non-sticky liquid lotion contains all mineral, non-chemical sunscreen ingredients to help protect against the sun's damaging UVA/UVB rays that can cause dryness, redness, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, among other skincare beauty boundaries. Recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation for daily use, the skinvigorating formula is also infused with maracuja, red algae, soybean, apple and honeysuckle extracts to nourish, tone and retain moisture while helping to combat signs of aging for a firmer, brighter, smoother appearance. The fresh, ocean's lily scent allows for luxurious, spa-like daily application while the high-performance liquid emulsion seamlessly melts into skin, leaving it supremely soft and silky, without ever leaving a white cast.

Thoughts: When it comes to samples, I try not to review. I honestly believe they don't give you enough to know how well the product works. I feel differently with Sephora samples. They give a decent amount that I can use for several weeks and know what I think about the product.
Here's a closer look at the opening. The full-size product also comes in a pump.
Here's a swatch of the sunscreen on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and I noticed slight floral scent. It's not overwhelming and I actually like it. Secondly, I actually like the packaging of the sample. It's sturdy and well-made, but I heard the full-size has a rubber outside. I'm not too sure since I haven't really played with the full-size product. If it is, I might not be a fan of the packaging. If it's like NARS, then definitely am not. Third, it has a medium consistency. It's easy to apply and absorbs into the skin quickly. It leaves a nice, smooth, soft texture. Honestly, it doesn't feel or look like a sunscreen. It feels more like a moisturizer. If you're not a fan of sunscreen, I recommend this product. It doesn't leave a thick, greasy, white residue on the skin like most sunscreens. This absorbs into the skin. It protects inside and out. Most American sunscreens layer on top of the skin only protecting the outside layer. For that reason, I tend to go for Asian sunscreens because they protect internally and out. Now I don't need to go far for a good sunscreen. Lastly, I cannot say if it protected my skin from the sun but this is a preventive measure. Anything to prevent more freckles and age spots is a big plus for me. It's also important to prevent aging with sunscreen. I tell my teenage nieces to start wearing sunscreen now. I wish someone forced me when I was young!

Pros:
* Slight, floral scent.
* Sturdy, well-made packaging.
* Medium consistency.
* Easy to apply.
* Absorbs quickly.
* Leaves a nice, smooth, soft texture.
* Does not feel or look like a sunscreen.
* No thick, greasy, white residue.
* Protects internally and out.
* Good preventive measure from the sun.
* Non-chemical.
* Paraben-free.

Cons:
* Don't know the long-term.

Would repurchase: Yes.
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws
