During Generation Beauty LA 2017, I helped out with Make Up For Ever. I was fortunate to get some beauty products.

I took this picture from my Instagram. Here are the products I got. I already reviewed Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes (top middle).
They were giving out four out of the six new Artist Liquid Matte. For this post, I will review the third from the left.

Thoughts: Out of the four liquid lipsticks, this was the most popular color. For that reason, I wanted to try this first.
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the doe foot applicator.
Here's a swatch of the liquid lipstick on my hand.
Here's how it looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Smashbox Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Smoky Storm.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight chemical scent while applying. It's not that strong but I did notice it. I just sniffed the product and it doesn't smell chemically at all. It smells more on the plant-side. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple and professional looking. With that said, it's sturdy and well-made. It also has a sturdy top. It makes a clicking noise when you close the top. You can also feel when you open and close the top. There's a slight push if that makes sense. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. I cannot see it break or open unless you are rough with the packaging. If you own more than one like myself, I like that it comes with a see through container. I can distinguish the colors apart. Third, the consistency is liquidity. It's not the most liquidity liquid lipstick but it's definitely not creamy. It's a decent consistency for a liquid lipstick. With that said, it glides on and does not tug on the lips. It also comes with the typical liquid lipstick doe foot applicator. It's slanted on one side of the tip making it easy to outline the lips. For that reason and the consistency, it makes it easy to apply and get at the corners. After you apply, it dries within minutes. It's not the most fastest drying liquid lipstick but it isn't the slowest. Once it dries, it does not transfer. One thing I did like is that it didn't show all the deep lines. It showed the fine lines but in the pretty way. Fourth, the color is pretty. It wasn't what I expected. For some reason, I thought it would be more on a mauve side but I think it's more on the reddish side. It'll be a great fall/winter color. I cannot see myself wearing this during spring/summer. With that said, it's pretty pigmented. One layer and it's that bold. I was impressed with the pigmentation. Lastly, it lasted until I ate. I really need to eat without the food touching my lips. I noticed the grease from the food soften the center of the lips. Then after I wipe my mouth, the center color is gone. The outline lasted until I removed my lip product. That's usually my experience with most liquid lipsticks. With that said, it's extremely comfortable. It did not dry out my lips and I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips.

Pros:
* Slight scent while applying.
* Simple and professional looking packaging.
* Sturdy and well-made packaging.
* Sturdy top; clicking noise when you close the top.
* Travel-friendly.
* See through packaging; can distinguish the colors.
* Liquidity consistency.
* Glides on and does not tug on the lips.
* Easy to outline the lips.
* Easy to use and get at the corners.
* Transfer-proof.
* Cannot see the deep lines on the lips.
* Great fall/winter color.
* Pigmented.
* Comfortable.
* Did not dry out my lips.
* Lasted until I ate.

Cons:
* Slight scent while applying.
