I am fortunate to work with Models Own.

I received two liquid lipsticks. I already reviewed Models Own Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick in Coral Fresh (right). For this post, I will review the liquid lipstick on the left.
This is Models Own Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick in #08 Candy Cane. Since I already did a thorough review of Models Own Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick in Coral Fresh, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the doe foot applicator.
Here's a swatch of the products on my hand. Candy Cane on the left and Coral Fresh on the right. I usually take my swatches under day light but I took it outside in natural light.
Here's how Candy Cane looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Kate Eye Shadow in BR-1 on the eyes and it Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi on the cheeks.
Here's the same look but I muted the liquid lipstick on the lips.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and it smells like mint. I'm not the biggest fan of mint but I actually don't mind this particular scent in this product. Plus, it only lasts for several seconds. Secondly, I love the packaging! It's simple but adorable at the same time. I love that it comes in a see through packaging. Since I own more than one, I can distinguish them apart easily. Not only that, it's well-made and sturdy. The top is also sturdy. It has a slight push when I open and close the top. I cannot see it open unless you open it manually. Also, it will not break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It comes with a typical doe foot applicator found in most liquid lipsticks; slanted one side of the tip. It's easy to outline the lips and color the remaining. Since this is a bold color, it's crucial to find a good applicator. If you make a mistake outlining the lips, everything will show. I usually have that problem with bold lipsticks but this one is good. Third, the consistency is creamy and in-between medium to thick. It glides on and does not tug on the lips. Compared to Models Own Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick in Coral Fresh, it goes on smoothly. Coral Fresh had slight streak but moving the applicator back and forth, it smoothed it out. I didn't have to worry about that with this particular color Candy Cane. I also felt slight tingling sensation not to the point of pain. I just felt it for couple of seconds. Honestly, it's not even that noticeable and this is coming from someone with real sensitive lips. Once it dries and it dries quickly within seconds, there's no grease and stickiness. It just leaves a nice, smooth, creamy texture. It doesn't even feel like I'm wearing lipstick. It doesn't mention on the packaging, as well as, ULTA website if it's transfer-proof but I did notice slight lipstick mark on my cup. It's mostly from my inner lips. After the first lipstick mark, there were none after that. I just kissed my hand to make sure and I didn't see anything. There's one thing I don't like about liquid lipsticks. It shows all the fine lines and some show thick lines. I don't mind my fine lines showing but I'm not keen on thick lines. It just doesn't look pretty or at least on me. This doesn't even show the fine lines like most liquid lipsticks. It leaves a nice, creamy, pretty texture. It looks pretty on my lips. This will be great for aging lips as well. Fourth, I'm not a red person. I just don't think it looks good on me. This is more a coral red and it's gorgeous. I actually like the color. This color is in all year round and great for the night out as well. When it comes to pigmentation, this brand blows me away. It's extremely opaque. I have to say it's better than a lot of higher end brands. Lastly, it lasted all day on me. When I muted the color, it didn't last as long. It lasted as long as most liquid lipsticks right after a meal. I have a tendency to wipe my mouth after each meal. With full pigmentation, it lasted through the meal until the end of the day. The grease from the food didn't loosen the particles in the center of the lips. Also, it's extremely comfortable and did not dry out my lips. I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips.

Would repurchase: Yes.
