Thoughts: I had such a good experience with Born Pretty Peel Off Color Changing Nail Polish in #G001 Swan Lake that I wanted to try a normal peel off polish.
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, the width is the same but the length is shorter. I wouldn't completely say the width is the exact same as OPI but it's comparable. The tip is the same except Born Pretty is the same width from where the handle is to the tip. OPI is condensed and spreads out toward the tip.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, two coats of Born Pretty Peel Off Nail Polish in #3, and topped it off with Madam Glam Gelementary Gel-Like Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I usually like wide brushes but this was a little bit hard to work with. It had nothing to do with the brush itself. The polish itself is kind of thick. I will go into that later. Since the polish is on the thicker side, I would make the brush a little bit thinner. It'll be easier to work with or at least for me. Even though I had slight difficulties, it wasn't hard to paint around the cuticles and sides. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple and cute. It's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of firm glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Since it's small enough, you can throw it in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with your dominant hand. Third, the consistency is in-between medium to thick. I don't know if it's just me or I got a bad batch. When I first open the polish, it looked more like glue than polish to me. It has that stretchy glue-like look to it if that makes sense. Even though it has that glue-like look, it's actually pretty easy to work with. I am going to be honest. I did have some difficulties with the first two nails. After I got the hang of using the polish, it was extremely easy. I think there's a slight curve working with these type of polishes. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, they mention to use their special base coat. Since I didn't have their special base coat, I didn't use one. I just used a nail hardener then two coats of polishes. I did top it off with a top coat. I'm not too sure if we're supposed to use one or not, but I still used one. The top coat I've been using lately takes a little bit longer to dry than I like. It's strange when I used the same top coat on this polish, it dried so quickly. I was impressed but found it strange. I think the next time I use this polish, I will only use the polish and that's about it. Fifth, the color is gorgeous! I've been into grays this season. I don't know why. I just found it pretty. It's a great fall/winter color. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two layers were good enough to show on my skin and cover the nail bed. Lastly, I didn't notice any shrinkage whatsoever. I did notice chipping on the side of the tips on the third day. After the slight chipping, nothing happened afterwards. Also removing the polish is so easy. I just grab a piece on the side and the whole polish comes off easily. You don't even need a polish remover! I'm glad I got to try this polish. The color is pretty and it's fun to remove!
